a decent stay
dining options nice rooms small showers missed items
i appreciated the location. it was perfect for accessing stanley park. we also found lots of dining options nearby! the rooms felt safe and were quite nice.
the hotel felt a little tired. the showers are small and it was difficult to move without touching the walls! the housekeeping sometimes missed things, like washing glasses, even with tips.

The staff were helpful. I was able to leave my bags there as I had a much later flight. IT was convenient.
I was given a room on the second floor. It was RIGHT above the outside bar. Loud music played, so the noise ruined my experience. This was not great considering the room rates I paid.

a bayshore embrace, a haven by the sea
prime location easy stroll charming cafes
I adored the prime location, right by the gentle water! it was perfect for peaceful walks to stanley park. the stroll into the downtown area was so easy, a lovely wander along the front. returning felt certain. The hotel's proximity to those charming cafes and beloved restaurants like lift and cardellos was divine.
The electrical outlets had covers. I struggled to plug in my phone! the check-in clerk offered a black box, but finding a free outlet was hard. i bought bottled water. It felt odd considering the plastic waste concerns i hold dear.

The room had comfortable bed and pillows. It ensured restful nights. i appreciated the cleanliness, though the decor seemed a bit dated. natural light filled the space.

the outdoor pool area was lovely. it has various spots. barrel saunas added a touch of luxury, a beautiful contrast to the cool air. i appreciated the attentive service around the pool.

a dreamy escape by the harbour
marina city view bicycle rentals complimentary drink
i was very impressed by the marina city view from my room, it felt so romantic! free bicycle rentals were available and i took full advantage exploring the area. the complimentary drink ticket was a lovely touch and i did feel very close to many attractions.
The pillows felt quite firm. I found it hard to get really comfortable.

an average experience
The elevators. oh, the elevators. one seemed to be constantly out of service, and the one that remained operational sounded like it was about to give up the ghost with every trip. I was pretty sure that was a fire hazard. also, the fitness center was tiny and felt so claustrophobic. the hotel's expensive, and i expect that thing to at least, you know, be bigger.

i found the location very convenient, near both the harbor and local attractions. the hotel offered complimentary bicycle rentals, which i used to explore the surrounding area. the staff was generally friendly, providing good service throughout my stay.
